Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Let's Talk Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the LaunchPad for Jira Service Management application ("the App").

Our role

Let's Talk Solutions Ltd is the vendor of LaunchPad. The App runs entirely within the customer's Atlassian Cloud environment. We do not operate independent application servers and we do not host customer Jira data. The organisation that installs the App remains the controller of all data stored in its Jira Service Management instance.

Information the App accesses

The App interacts only with configuration information required to create and manage Assets schemas:

• Schema names and object type names
• Attribute and relationship definitions
• Configuration metadata

Information the App does not access

The App does not read or retrieve:

• Request conversations or ticket comments
• Attachments or uploaded files
• End-user communications
• Knowledge base article content
• Email message content

Personal data processed

The application processes limited user context provided by Atlassian Forge solely to operate within the customer's Jira Service Management instance: Atlassian account ID, user permission context, and organisation identifiers necessary for authorisation.

This data is not used for profiling, marketing, analytics, or tracking. The application does not access email addresses, names, or user-generated content.

Where processing occurs

All processing occurs within the Atlassian Forge platform and the customer's Jira Cloud tenant. No customer operational data is transmitted to our own servers.

Data storage and retention

LaunchPad does not persist customer data outside Atlassian Cloud. Any operational data stored in Atlassian Forge storage exists only to support application functionality and is automatically removed when the app is uninstalled, the associated schema is removed, or the data is no longer required for operation.

In-app operational metrics

LaunchPad records lightweight operational metrics within your Jira Cloud instance: aggregated usage counters, success and failure counts, and a rolling log of the most recent 20 events. These metrics are stored exclusively in Atlassian Forge storage within your own tenant and are never transmitted externally.

Third-party services

The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App communicates only with Atlassian Cloud services. The documentation site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service hosted in the EU.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the following rights over your personal data:

• Right of access (Article 15)
• Right to rectification (Article 16)
• Right to erasure (Article 17)
• Right to restriction of processing (Article 18)
• Right to data portability (Article 20)
• Right to object to processing (Article 21)
• Right not to be subject to automated decision-making (Article 22)

LaunchPad does not make automated decisions about individuals and does not profile users.

How to exercise these rights

Email hello@lt.solutions with "Data subject request" in the subject line. We will respond within one calendar month where reasonably practicable, in line with UK GDPR Article 12(3). We may ask you to verify your identity before actioning a request.

Requests relating to personal data stored within Jira Service Management itself should be directed to the organisation that controls the Jira instance; we are a processor of configuration metadata only.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data or a request, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Equivalent authorities apply in the EU.
